About us


The European Foundation for Cooperation and Science was established in June 2018 by Artur Jach-Chrząszcz. He and the Foundation’s Management Board will strive to achieve the following objectives:

Activities for the development of science,
Activities supporting economic development, including the development of entrepreneurship,
Activities for European integration and development of contacts and cooperation between societies,
Activities in the field of social and charity help,

Cultural, sports and educational activities aimed at developing the potential of society and its integration,
Activities promoting the protection of human rights, freedoms and civil liberties, as well as the development of democracy and civil society,
Activities supporting the development of children and youth


Management Board members


Artur Jach-Chrząszcz, MSc – President of the Foundation’s Management Board

A graduate of the Faculty of International and Political Studies at the Jagiellonian University and the Pedagogical Faculty at the Ignatianum Academy. Currently, as a PhD student in the field of Politics Sciences, he continues education at the Pedagogical University in Cracow. He is an author of several scientific publications, as well as a multiple referent of national and international scientific conferences. His research interests include geopolitical studies, internal and external security issues, as well as international relationships. Furthermore, he is associated with the trade and services industry. A member of the Polish Political Sciences Society, Magyar Politikatudományi Társaság and International Association for Political Science Students.

Daniel Gołda, MA – Vice-President of the Foundation’s Management Board

A lawyer specializing in sports law, a graduate of the Faculty of Law and Administration of the Jagiellonian University. Currently, he is the Vice-chairman of Wisła Kraków S.A., a member of the Social Dialogue Committee of the European Club Association (ECA), as well as a member of the Professional Football Committee in the Polish Football Association. He is also a Chairman of the Regulations and Legal Committee of the Football Association of Malopolska. A participant of the first Polish edition of the “UEFA Certificate in Football Management” training program..

Jarosław Indyk, MSc – Vice-President of the Foundation’s Management Board

A lawyer specializing in sports law, a graduate of the Faculty of Law and Administration of the Jagiellonian University. Currently, he is a member of the Social Dialogue Committee of the European Club Association (ECA), as well as a member of the Professional Football Committee in the Polish Football Association. He is also a Chairman of the Regulations and Legal Committee of the Football Association of Malopolska. A participant of the first Polish edition of the “UEFA Certificate in Football Management” training program.

Karina Ciuła, BA – Secretary and the Member of the Board of the Foundation

Graduate of the Faculty of Pedagogy of the Ignatianum Academy in Cracow. As she is in the course of completing her postgraduate studies at Cracow University of Economics, she has been combining education with professional work. She is connected with financial and banking sectors. Aside from the engagement in societal undertakings, she is remarkably focused on science and activities oriented towards entrepreneurship development. Her research-related undertakings are as follows: public administration sectors, finances and accounting, digital banking, as well as monetary and fiscal policies.

Michał Buczek, M.D. – Member of the Board of the Foundation

Doctor of medicine undergoing a vascular surgery specialization course, a graduate of the Faculty of Medicine of Collegium Medicum of Jagiellonian University. The employee of the General Surgery, Vascular Surgery, Angiology, and Phlebology of the Upper-Silesian Medical Centre in Katowice. A regular attendant and supervisor of medicine-oriented scientific conferences. A lecturer and scientific assistant of the Medical University of Silesia in Katowice.

Łukasz Grzywa, Eng. – Member of the Board of the Foundation

Graduate of the Faculty of Environmental Engineering of the Cracow University of Technology. He is professionally connected with the construction industry. Mister Łukasz has been realizing a large-scale project for one of leaders in the fire ventilation industry and specializes in designing of systems the aim of which is to ensure full safety of people during a fire. The participant of numerous industry-specific training sessions and conferences, as well as research projects strictly connected with safety.

Paweł Musiał, MA – Member of the Board of the Foundation

Lawyer, mediator, graduate of the Faculty of Law and Administration of Jagiellonian University. The participant of a course organized by the Association of Notaries of the Republic of Poland in association with the Partners Poland Foundation. Mister Paweł has also cooperated with the Court Watch Poland Foundation. He is the author of an insightful paper on legal expense insurances as seen through the prism of Polish economic and societal contexts.

Foundation’s Programme Board


Paweł Ostachowski, Msc – Chairman of the Foundation’s Programme Board

A scientific and administrative employee of the Chair of Law, Administration, and Economy at the Pedagogical University of Cracow, as well as an associate of a small financial company. Mister Paweł graduated with honors from his postgraduate studies in history, political sciences, international relations, and administration at the Pedagogical University of Cracow. He was the laureate of best master’s thesis competitions and his dissertations were defended at the Chair of Political Sciences (2013), as well as at the Chair of Law, Administration, and Economy of the Pedagogical University of Cracow (2017). He completed his doctoral studies at the Faculty of Political Sciences at the Pedagogical University of Cracow in the field of political sciences (2019). He has been the co-organizer and originator of a number of scientific conferences and seminars having both national and international reach. Mister Paweł was the originator of the concept of opening the Security and Cross-border Cooperation Research Center. He also became the member of its Programme Board. He is the member of the Lesser Poland Regional Committee of the Security and Defense Knowledge Competition. He is a statistical editor of the international scientific journal entitled "European Journal of Economics and Development". Mister Paweł is also the author of numerous articles in monographs and scientific magazines. In his research, he focuses on the issues that are strictly connected with the history and evolution of local self-governments, administration, public policies, ecology-related security, as well as on the matter of financial management in the public sector on both the national and international level.
